So I'm not just talking to myself, I will write it here...

Product Review - Trader Joe’s Lemongrass Coconut Body Oil

We live in Colorado so we know ALL about dry winters.  Nothing ever seems to work enough, or last long enough, or it gets too greasy.  So we’re always up for trying new products. Also, recognizing that what works in the winter won’t always work in the summer or spring or fall…

Well, I’m glad I tried this at Trader Joe’s.  Not only is it inexpensive ($3.99) - I love it!
A little bit goes a long way so I use it sparingly.  I actually love using on my face at night or after a shower.  Despite the amount of oil in it, it soaks in and my face doesn’t feel greasy for long.  I was afraid it would clog pores and make me breakout but after almost a month wearing and no breakouts, I’m not worried anymore.  It feels great under makeup, however, I have found some makeups don’t blend well with it leaving me with a less natural look. And it lasts all day and then some…

I don’t think I will continue using from spring to summer as I think it is more suited for the dryer months. Also, I tend to up my sunscreen during those months (still wear year round but the amount, quality, and application frequency change) during the time of the year.  I’m worried with some of the sunscreens I prefer that the mixture will be a bit too greasy.

I definitely think my face appreciates the moisture and for an easy (cheap) spa feeling at home, I won’t hesitate to apply!

(This is not a paid post and this is not an ad.  This is just my opinion and I am just a customer.)
